Are you a coach who is tired of having your goalies just be targets at practice? Would you like to know some drills to keep your goalies engaged? Would you like to learn more about their position and their equipment?

The Goaltender Development Centre
has a clinic for you!

We are offering two different times for your convenience Sunday, October 16, 2011: 12 noon – 1:30 pm
Monday, October 17, 2011: 7:00 – 8:30 pm

For a nominal charge of $25.00/person (includes GST) you will receive classroom time, on-ice portion and a handout to take with you! We also encourage you to contact our instructor with any follow-up questions or help you may need. Call 403-244-2022 to reserve your spot today. Payment is required at time of booking.

“Tid-bits” from the Past 30 Years – 1992-93

* In September 1992 Manon Rheaume becomes the first and only woman to play in the NHL for the Tampa Bay Lightning. She started one period of a preseason game against the St. Louis Blues and allowed 3 goals.

* Canada’s best Olympic outing earned them a Silver Medal in 1992.

* In 1993 The Goalie Shop moves to a huge 5,000 sq. ft. area on 11 Avenue SW and the first Newsletter is produced.

* In 1993 Patrick Roy wins his second Conn Smyth as he leads Montreal to its 24th Stanley Cup, winning an astonishing record of 10 overtime games in a row.
